Welcome to a Sample of an intro page.
Until October 2, 2015
I often have envisioned this scene of warm light gently cascading down the mountainside and into the cool waters below. I can almost hear the sound of water falling into the quite pool at my feet. I have seen places like this as I have traveled, but they are always more beautiful in my minds eye. My senses are alive with the feeling of the warm light and cool waters in my painting of a Mountain Cascade.

I’m going to walk you through this painting Step-by-Step.
Most students can finish this class painting in about six hours. Some do it in three. I did it in about an hour and a half! I’m not telling you that to brag, but so you can have an idea how long it will take. As you become used to the method you will get faster! Focus on one step at a time. Make each step perfect before you go to the next and you will be happy with the results. Glance through the eleven pages, especially the last, to see what you will be doing. This is the “McNaughton Method,” so be prepared to do learn and have fun at the same time!
I don’t care if you print out any of these color jpegs for your own use. I put the “Sample” watermark so nobody goes out and sells them. On each painting if you want to see larger, just click on the image.
There are TEN STEPS in this painting…
